Poor Brutus

I took Brutus to the vet today...It was rather interesting to say the least. First off, I've never been in a Vet office before so I had no idea what to expect. I had also never ridden in a vehicle with Brutus so I wasn't sure how he would react. Well, he was calm but sat backwards in the seat and halfway to the vet, it started...PUKING. Poor guy puked on the way to the vet and on the way home from the vet...not once, not twice BUT SIX times.

He did wonderful at the Vet. He was SO calm! I had to get his man parts checked out and once we get him neutered poor guy will be back to normal!

Day 2(Inside) Fixing the hall door and a few other things :)

The right set of doors has been down since I've known Stephen. He ran out of time to fix them before he left and I wanted them done so I put my big girl pants on and went to work! Wa La! They are fixed!

I wish I would have taken a before picture of Gracies room. Its still that color but hopefully will be complete this weekend. It will be a Paris theme in the end...
Anyways, I found this set of bunk beds for $75 and couldn't resist! I can't believe I actually put them together on my own.

This is the beginning of our master bedroom. Before pictures will be coming soon. It's going to be black and maybe have one accent wall...still undecided :)

Day 3(Outside) -Planting the Sago

I didn't accomplish much today but I did get the Sago Palm planted and some rock laid around it. I need to go pick up about four more bags of rock to finish it up. I wish everyone could have seen this Sago when Stephen and I first started dating. It was no more than a string and the stump. It was so bare I didn't even recognize that it was a Sago.

Day 2(Outside)

This is what I accomplished on the second day of being outside(Thanks to help from Shannon and Patrick).
Weed Cloth was placed in the small section where I pull the crepe myrtle from yesterday. The three bushes were pulled up today and I raked and leveled the ground out the best I could. Day 3 will be spent laying more plastic down.

This was the BEFORE picture below. It looks so different!

Day 1 (Inside)

We all loaded up and decided it was time to make a change in the bathroom so off to Lowe's we went...

We chose a lime green to match the shower curtain that we had in our other home. Thank goodness between Gracie and I, we picked out just the right shade. Chloe and Gracie both tried to help and it was a TIGHT squeeze with three of us in the bathroom at once but somehow we managed.

Gracie did an awesome job at painting the larger spots, now if I could touch up all the trim, we would be in business...

I would say that for under $20 that this turned out to be a darn good makeover.

The above organizer is from IKEA. It was given to me by a friend and matched perfectly! Thanks Shannon!

Day 1(Outside)

If you looked at the before pictures you can see I didn't accomplish a whole lot BUT I did accomplish something...

YES! The Crepe Myrtle is officially gone! Tomorrow I will work on pulling up the bushes(with the help of a friend and her husband) and laying down cloth so that I can work on getting new plants in and wont have to worry about weeds...

I've officially assumed(and we know what that can do) that whomever planted the Crepe Myrtle in that area was NOT from the South because if they were from the south then they would have know not to plant it in such a small spot.
